About
Metocean is a set of atmospheric and oceanic parameters (i.e. wind, wave, current, tide level) that are essential in ensuring the safety and reliability of various coastal and marine operations and constructions.
Metocean Design Criteria is developed to deliver the probabilistic behavior of representative metocean parameters for coastal and offshore construction and structure planning and design. MODC provides engineers the data to minimize uncertainty for optimal resource allocation in order to ensure cost-efficient engineering practices in compliance with international standards. We present metocean information as a prediction of normal and extreme conditions of wind, tides, waves, and currents.
Metocean Atlas (map) of physical parameters (wind, wave, currents, and tides) in coastal and ocean environments.
Directional analyses of long-term winds, waves, and currents in coastal and ocean environments.
Simulation of waves, currents, and tides, and conception from several scenarios that could occur on work sites.
Using a vast amount of historical data, extreme values analysis gives prediction of extreme events from waves, currents, and tides on work sites.
